In sport, especially bodyboarding it is all about quick paddling, hard paddling and some breathe holds all mixed into one. Todays Friday Fitness is about INTERVALS. As it is my birthday I will not be doing this but here it is anyway. Intervals are quick sprints, up to 100m, and then a jog/run for the same distance and then do it again. This type of running method helps me get to the fitness level of intervals when competing or paddling to the outside on a big day. Its all about the short sprints and I will tell you that it will make you tired. We do this in the CKZNBA Team and it works, guys will be gasping for air as they do the small runs and thats what we all about, FITNESS!
