Today was the first day in Arica, Chile. It is the most desolated, interesting place. It was awesome to see the El Morro de Arica which is a national monument is an enormous rock, standing 110 meters high and paying tribute to the Chilean military victories in the 19th Century Pacific War. This is a beautiful site to see in Arica. Next to it stands the statue of Jesus, looking over us as we ride El Gringo in the morning. It was a great day, experiencing new culture, living the dream as well as getting some fun waves on the side.
